Hello and welcome to
EWiF London.
I’m Anne-Marie Martin and I’m the franchisor of diddi dance. I’ve been involved in franchising for 18 years now and currently have 42 franchisees across the UK within the diddi dance network. I trained as a professional dancer and teacher before launching a preschool dance business in 2003. After its success locally I decided to franchise the concept in 2006.
I’ve been running the London regional meetings now for over 10 years welcoming many members and non-members to our sessions. This makes for a very diverse and interesting setting where service providers, franchisors, franchisees and those thinking of buying into a franchise network or franchising their own business can gain valuable advice, guidance and best practice tips.
I always aim to run very open and honest meetings in a warm and friendly setting focusing on many different topics from the latest NatWest survey results and franchisees feedback surveys to social media discussions and open forum round tables. We’ve had many guest speakers from all areas of franchising and look forward to many more in the future. Being part of an organisation that is so supportive and encouraging means members can gain vital advice from people who have years of experience.

Bring-a-buddy
This year, we’re running a Bring-A-Buddy scheme, where we are inviting our ambassadors to invite a ‘buddy’ along to any of the EWiF meetings, to see for themselves what we’re all about. We want to encourage more women into franchising for themselves, one of the best ways we believe we can do this, is by expanding our inspirational army of EWiF Ambassadors. Connect your friends to an industry which could enhance their business, or benefit from their services, plus you could win EWiF Ambassador of the Month if your friend(s) becomes an EWiF member!
So, take a look at your inner circle or network. Who are you connected with, and what could they offer to the wider franchise community? Or, how could franchising inspire them to fulfil their true self? Then, just invite them along to the next meeting in your region. If we all invited just one person, and they, in time, invited someone else, through the power of connection EWiF’s impact could really grow in 2024!
