Consistently brilliant, Suzie McCafferty, is definitely a firm favourite for many people in franchising. Having started franchising two businesses, she now uses her knowledge to help others.
It’s not often we use the term “superstar” in EWiF, as we’re constantly surrounded by franchising heroes. But, when it comes to double award winner, Suzie McCafferty, it certainly feels appropriate. Platinum Wave Franchising have not only scooped Service Provider of the Year for the 4th year running, but Suzie also won this year’s Overall Woman in Franchising award!
Having started out by franchising her business – twice – Suzie has an in-depth knowledge of every aspect of franchising. She uses this insight, as one of the industry’s leading mentors and advisers to empower others looking into franchising, as a route for their business, or their career. As Principal Franchise Consultant at Platinum Wave, Suzie is very well-known across franchising.
Platinum Wave was founded in 2008, supporting owners wanting to franchise their businesses, both in the UK and internationally. Their services include helping to recruit franchisees, provide training, mentoring and development support, and help to create & manage marketing communications, so businesses could develop successful and sustainable franchise networks – even internationally.
Under Suzie’s leadership, Platinum Wave has grown into one of the most acclaimed and dynamic franchise consultancy firms in the world, with more awards to its name than we have time to list here. When asked how she felt about receiving this latest accolade as Service Provider of the Year, Suzie says, “It felt absolutely amazing! It’s such an honour for the whole team to be recognised as being at the top of our game – I think this is our 4th win as Best Service Provider! After doing this for as long as we have, and working as hard as we do alongside so many amazing brands, it’s a real joy to know Platinum Wave is seen as setting the standard for customer service in franchising and delivering results for our clients.”
Her work at Platinum Wave is only part of the reason why Suzie was also selected to be our Overall Woman in Franchising of the Year. Her knowledge of franchising is almost legendary and, despite facing a whole slew of unrelenting personal challenges over last year, her passion and commitment to helping budding franchisors achieve their growth goals seems never to waver.
